Once you have finished with 100 grit sand the surface again with 150 grit and then 200 grit to smooth the surface. As a result my job was just to sand the boards place them on the floor glue nail them down and stain finish the floor.
Take the sub out of subfloor. Economy at the current price of 36 per sheet that just a little over 1 per square foot. A hardwood or grade a plywood probably won t need much prep at all but a lower grade will. Once glued set the plywood on the subfloor and nail it down.
